 Summer Term :)

I can hardly believe that we are in our last term already!! What a great year it has been.

Please take a look at the photos from our recent learning and especially our trip to the Museum of London- we had a fantastic day!

We have many more exciting events coming up over final months of this school year; the talent show, awards evening, sports day, inspire festival and a disco.

We look forward to you joining us!

Roman Museum Trip March 2018

To end our Forces and Magnets topic, Year 3 kindly hosted a Science fair for Year 2

January 2018  - Spring Term Welcome back!!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas break. It seams so,  I have really enjoyed hearing all the children's stories about the celebration period and those lucky enough to leave the country.

Many thanks for all the parents and family members who were able to see our Christmas performance. We hope you enjoyed watching as much as we enjoyed creating it. If you couldn't make the performance or just would like to see it again please view the videos and pictures -i'm sure the children would love to see themselves performing.

We have many new topics well under way for this term. We are covering Poetry, The Romans, Rocks and Soils, Exhibitions, and learning how to become presenters in computing.  Please talk to your children to share what we have been doing within the classroom and look out on our page for pictures of our learning.

October 2017 - Autumn Term

Hello parents and children of 3AL,

First of all, thank you -what a fantastic first half term!

I am extremely pleased with how we have all settled in and the brilliant progress we have made so far. We have had a super busy half term and have shared so much already, like; Marvellous Maths, Family Friday, the Royal Ballet at Dagenham Park, the Talent Show and our trip to Valence House (please see photos below).

I am looking forward for the next half term and the exciting opportunities to come!

Have a safe and enjoyable break, see you on Monday 30th October.

Our first Art focus was the brilliant artist Paul Klee. He inspired us to create our own pictures using different techniques. Here is 3AL recreating the 'Cat and Bird' using oil pastels to produce tone. We had great fun doing this activity and the end results look wonderful on display in our room!

Ballet

Over the past 6 weeks we have been extremely lucky to of had Miss Cox from The Royal Ballet School working with us. I can speak for all of us when I say it has been a very enjoyable experience and it is a real shame it has come to an end. Many thanks to the parents who were able to attend our performance. Here are 3AL opening the presentation with a 'reverence'.

2.11.17 - A new half term means lots of new and exciting topics! In science we are investigating light, today we learnt that light is not white as it seams but it is actually made up of 7 colours - ask the children from 3AL to tell you exactly which colours?
