Character Descriptions
To recognise and discuss common themes within legends (good and evil, rich and poor, magic and journeys) and develop imagery through use of similes, alliteration and metaphors.
A metaphor - states that one thing is something else e.g. The moon is a white balloon. She is the light of my life.
Alliteration is when words start with the same sound: For example, Sammy the slippery snake came sliding.
Task- To write a short description of a character (the dragon) using language that is appropriate and imaginative.
