Year 5&6 Girls Football Team
Our year 5&6 girls football took part in a 7-a-side tournament against 3 other schools in the borough . They showed outstanding courage and worked superbly as a team to perform at a high level. They were immensely proud of themselves, as is the entire school.
BMX Day - Mike Mullen
We were very grateful to be joined by BMX legend Mike Mullen at a visit to our school. Mike held a fantastic assembly where he spoke to children about the importance of resilience and deteremination and how commiting to sports helped him through difficult times as a child. The children were left feeling extremely inspired.

Royal Ballet School Year 3 Primary Steps workshops at Marsh Green!
A group of children from Years 2 and 3 have been working really hard to learn a dance which is 10 minutes long!! It celebrates the different World Cup sporting events this year, Rugby, Netball and Cricket. They got to perform this at the Jim Peters Stadium on Wednesday 12th June. To say they were amazing is an understatement.
They are now working on elements to perform at the Awards Ceremony and the School Music Festival.
Barking and Dagenham Cricket Competition - June 2019
The school cricket team took part in the competition held on 4th June 2019. It was a tense competition with 15 schools, each school playing 3 matches. The children were so excited to be taking part and showed fantastic sportsmanship.
Our scores were 248-221, 222-211 and 228-178. Although we did not win any of our matches, this was a great set of results for our first attempt. The children played so well and showed great resilience. Performances to be proud of.

We had three fantastic days at Stubbers Outdoor Centre. We tried lots of new activities, including sailing, paddle boarding and raft building - all of which meant we got wet! We also did High Ropes - very scary! Tunnelling - also very scary! All of the activities helped develop our team work. It was a tiring but really exciting and nerve racking three days - can't wait until the next one.
