Choose six items to measure to the nearest half cm using a ruler.
First estimate, measure then order all the objects according to their measurements.
Check your work by putting the actual objects in order.
Year 2 - Measure lengths using uniform units.
Use a centimetre ruler to measure three objects . Establish that the objects are the same number of cm.
Choose different objects that you think might be smaller or bigger than one centimetre.
