In D&T we are creating our own night lights! Here you can see us using papier-mâché to create the body of our night lights.
Our next investigation is all about tooth decay! We are finding out the effect that different liquids have on eggshells.
In Science we have been learning about the digestive system! We carried out a practical to see what happens when a sandwich travels through our bodies.
Welcome back to the glorious Summer term! We are nearly at the end of the academic year, the children have been working very hard and I know they will have lots of fun whilst doing so. Our school is very busy during this term, so enjoy finding out what we get up to :)
And just like that another successful term has flown by! This has been one of our most exciting terms yet! We have been doing a lot of experiments during Science, we have also been learning about bridges in D&T. As a class we learnt Silent Night in German for our Christmas Concert and I am so proud of how confident they were when performing the song. The class have been consistently reading at home which means we have had quite a lot of winners in the school Reading Assembly. The children have really impressed me this term with their hard work and enthusiasm, I know they will continue to do so in the next year.
I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a safe New Year!
See you all on Thursday 4th January 2018

Hello and a big welcome to class 4CL!
Well that half term flew by! And what a term it was!
We have enjoyed every moment in class, from welcoming the parents in on Family Friday and Marvellous Maths, all the way to our exciting trip to Valence House for our Vikings topic. We have also taken part in the school talent show and wow what a talented bunch they all are!
It is without a doubt that as a class we have worked exceptionally hard this half term and I'm so pleased with the constant enthusiasm and high standard of work produced by the pupils. They have settled really well into Year 4.
Here's to another successful term!
Have a safe and happy half term.
