Science

Our new science topic is Light and Shadows. In today's lesson the children learnt that light is made up of 7 different colours. We made Whizzer Wheels to represent 6 of the colours and discovered that if you spin the colours really fast your eyes cannot see the separate colours anymore and instead they blur together and are seen as 'white'. The children had lots of fun during this lesson!

Wow! What a fast half term that has been.

I am super proud of how we have all settled into the new school year and classroom and how we continue to work hard on our learning.

We have worked hard on all our subjects, welcomed parents for Family Friday and Marvellous Maths as well as welcoming a new class member!

We have also enjoyed a fun day out at Valence House Museum for our Stone Age to Iron Age topic.

I hope you all have a fantastic half term break and we will continue with our hard work on our new topics when we return.

Over the past 6 weeks we have been extremely lucky to of had Miss Cox from The Royal Ballet School working with us. I can speak for all of us when I say it has been a very enjoyable experience and it is a real shame it has come to an end. Many thanks to the parents who were able to attend our final performance.
