A trip to Tesco!
Farm to Fork at Tesco
Today's trip for 4NC was at Roneo Corner Tesco. The session we attended was called 'Farm to Fork' and its aim was to teach us all a little bit more about where our food comes from.
We visited the fishmonger, the freezer, the warehouse and the bakery, seeing all that went on behind the scenes. We also looked around the fruit and vegetable section, discovering the continents where the food had come from.
The best part was the rainbow platter of fruits and vegetables at the end for all to try.
A great day for 4NC!
Happy Easter from Year 4!
The Chase
Today, Year 4 visited The Chase where they enjoyed roaming around and exploring the outdoor space. The children took part in activities involving symmetry and shapes, and had to identify these mathematical concepts in nature. They also had the chance to build animal habitats from natural resources and were encouraged to think about their effectiveness. Year 4 will have no trouble getting to sleep tonight after all that running around in the cold weather!
Once again, thank you to all the parent/family helpers! Your support is always appreciated!
