The children have been looking at an Atlas to identify the 23 countries that formulate North America. 

Anglo-Saxons vs Vikings 

This term we are exploring how the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings made a contribution to history. We will also be exploring how their actions led to how we run the world today.

Investigating rivers 5AC

This term, we have been investigating rivers across the globe. We have looked at their purpose, as well as understanding contemporary issues surrounded with them, for example, the continuous rise of pollution. We have also explored their importance through transportation, habitats, trade and leisure. 

Autumn Term 1- Unit 1 Rebuilding Britain

This term we have been looking at how people were affected during World War 2 and the struggles the country faced when the war was over. The children explored the economy, the NHS, the migration of Caribbean helpers, the British empire and the restructure of homes.
