Year 4 discussed what their aspirations are for the future and how they would be able to achieve this on Aspirations Day

Year 4 celebrated National Hugging Day, where they were able to demonstrate their care and consideration for each other.

On Children in Need Day we worked on developing empathy and took the time to consider the lives of children that are less fortunate than ourselves.
We also participated in four different mood boosting activities to help our mental health and wellbeing. They helped us to recharge our energy levels, use our imagination, boost our mood and connect with each other.
The activities were great fun too!

We observed co-operation and creativity in action, in the pantomime production of ‘Sleeping Beauty.’

We care and always want the best for each other. During Anti bullying week we considered how much we valued our friends and thought of ways to reach out and support each other.

What a mess! Or Is it? During Black History Month we celebrated the work of Sir Frank Bowling OBE (The first black British artist to be elected to the Royal Academy). He is a Guyana-born British artist who enjoys Abstract Expressionism.
Sir Frank Bowling received a knighthood for services to art in the Queen's Birthday Honours in October 2020. We enjoyed creating 'Poured Paintings' which is one of Frank Bowling's styles - we allowed paint to run down to create different effects and added our memories of this month.
