Friday 17th July - English - To write sentences from the story (Part 2)

In this lesson, we will continue to write our story of Supertato, by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet. If you are not yet ready to write sentences, you can design a Wanted Poster to help catch The Evil Pea!

Friday 17th July - Maths - Addition and subtraction within 20

In this lesson we will continue playing games using our knowledge of numbers to 10 and 20.

Friday 17th July - Foundation - Summer crown

In today's lesson, we will be learning about the seaon of summer. We will create a beautiful summer crown to wear in the sunshine this summer! The three key areas that this lesson links to are expressive arts and design, understanding the world and physical development.

Friday 10th July  2020 - Lesson 5 - English - To write a letter

In this lesson, we will write a letter of kindness to someone we care about. We will be sure to include the features of a letter, working on sounding out words and learning to write some tricky words. You can extend this lesson by posting the letter and talking about the process mail goes through to reach the intended recipient.

In this lesson we will revise the measuring activites that we have completed this week.

Friday 10th July 2020 - Lesson 5 - Creative Curriculum - Mixing colour

In today's lesson, we will have a go at mixing colours in water to find out what new colours they make. The three key areas that this lesson links to are understanding the world, communication and language, and maths.

In this lesson, we will write a fact file about our favourite reptiles, thinking about their appearance, habitats and characteristics. You can extend this learning by making a fact file on different types of animals.

Friday 3rd July 2020, Lesson 5 - Maths - Revising addition and subtraction

In this lesson we will recap addition and subtraction. Remember to use resources to help you such as number lines or objects to count with (e.g. marbles, sweets, biscuits, fruit, eggs etc.)

This is a super fun lesson! We are going to create aliens from our handprints! We will think about the colour of our aliens, how many eyes they will have and what their arms and legs will look like. Don't worry, if you haven't got paints at home - you could do the same by drawing around your hand with pencils/felt tips/gel pens smiley

Friday 26th June Lesson 5 – English - Story Writing Part 2

Today's task is all about solving problems. In this lesson you will investigate numbers by finding out how many different ways you can split a given number of objects between 2 containers.
