Today we wanted to find out which material would be best to fix Mrs Piercy's umbrella. We had to find out which material was waterproof. The plastic and playdough were waterproof.

Today Mr Remmer came into class to show us his toys from a long time ago. He showed us the toys and then let us play with them. It was great fun!
Science: today we made homes for our imaginary pets.
In science we are making imaginary pets and learning how to care for them.
Today Mrs Lawton talked to the children about the toys she played with as a young girl. We looked at the toys and compared them with the toys we play with today. Then we played with them!
In science we are learning about habitats. We created a habitat using logs, mud and leaves. I wonder what creatures we will find next week?
Science ; we are learning to name and identify parts of the body.
Geography; we are learning the importance of an address. The children created postcards and went for a trip to the postbox!
