Year 1
Spring term.
Welcome back! 2019 will be a busy year! We have lots of exciting learning experiences planned for this term , including a walk around the local area and a trip to Eastbury House.
Thank you for the support you give in reading at home. It is very important that your child reads at least 3 times a week. We will be monitoring this in school. If your child reads three times they will get a raffle ticket which goes into a draw with a chance to win a book.
Please also make sure homework is completed by Wednesday and spelling sheets are returned on Fridays.

Welcome to Year 1.
This term the children will take part in a variety of learning experiences. We will continue to enjoy the outdoor learning environment as part of the transition process from Reception to Year 1.
Please make sure your child has their reading book and diary in school everyday. Also, please remember to sign the diary and make a comment. Homework will be sent home on a Friday and should be returned the following Wednesday. Spelling sheets need to be returned every Friday.
