Diwali
We learned about the festival of light and the story of Rama and Sita. As a class we designed Rangoli patterns (It’s purpose is to feel strength, generosity and to bring good luck!).
Children in Need
We celebrated Children in need by learning about the charity and how we can all make a difference in the world, through acts of kindness.
We read ‘One Hundred Steps’ - a book about Sir Tom Moore and his commitment to raising money for the NHS during lockdown!
Remembrance Day
For Remembrance Day we looked at a poem about Mr. Choudhury’s great great grandfather! (Written by his grandmother). We answered questions about the text, which gave us a deep understanding of the sacrifice that has been made by many. We are forever grateful!
