Mr Chin's Noticeboard (5AC)
Look at this wonderful symmetrical animal picture sketched by Alfie. I love it!
Hello 5AC,
This week in the Yr 6 bubble we used shading to draw our own symmetrical animal picture. Have a look at the examples from Yr 6 below. Why don't you have a go at drawing your own animal picture? Do remember to email in your own efforts.

Good morning 5AC
I hope you all had a good weekend. The home learning area has been updated for you to complete.
Well done to those who participated in guessing the height of the sunflower. The actual height measured 6ft 7 inches (approximately 201cm). Amazingly the flower has grown over 18cm in two weeks!
I will speak to you soon.

Hello 5AC.
I hope you have had a good week. I thought I would quickly show you the tallest sunflower in my Garden! I have 10 in total which I planted back in April. Who can guess how tall this one is? Answers will be revealed Monday (06.07.20).

Hello 5AC.
I hope you had an enjoyable weekend. It looks like it won't be as hot this week.
A big well done to everyone who completed the Oak Academy work last week. New work has been added in the same area. Also, well done to Alfie who jumped the furthest in our sporting challenge last week.

Hello 5AC Mr Chin here.
I hope you all has a good weekend and are looking forward to the lovely weather this week. Please make sure you complete the daily lessons (Oak academy) as this the minimum expectation. Please also remember to use TTrockstars too as this is an excellent times table resource. Activities have also been allocated on https://www.activelearnprimary.co.uk/login?e=-1&c=0 . If you run out of reading material do read the allocated book 'Oranges in no man's land'. This book is a gripping story of a ten-year-old girl who risks death to make a lifesaving dash through war-torn Beirut. I'm interested to hear your views on this book as I really enjoyed it!
I would love to see pictures of your learning so do email pictures and videos to parentenquiry@marshgreen.bardaglea.org.uk . I have loved seeing you all keeping busy at home!
