Year 4’s new topic is all about circuits and conductors. We have enjoyed testing different materials in circuits and learning about the use of mains and battery powered appliances.

Year 4 have begun a new topic about eating and digestion and we can now correctly use the related vocabulary - herbivores, carnivores, omnivores, producer and consumer. We enjoyed creating and discussing food chains.

We have been learning about living in environments and began with a walk around our school environment, where we were able to identify a variety of habitats and explore why organisms live in different habitats.
