Mathematics
Have a go at some of these fun maths games!
In EYFS we learn to recognise, count, write and order numbers 1-20. Then we apply this knowledge in addition and subtraction activities. We also learn about shape, space and measures.
20.4.22 - We have be learning how to complete subtraction calculations. We use lots of different resources to help us find our answer.
24.2.22 - We decided to complete a puzzle. We independently chose the activity and worked as a team, lots of teamwork, turn taking and sharing as well as problem solving.
23.2.22 - 100s Day!
22.2.22 - We are learning to count and recognise our numbers. We then matched the number card with the same number of Lego blocks to make a tower.
3.2.22 - Comparing Lengths. We have been comparing different lengths and working out, which is the 'longest' length and which is the 'shortest' length.
31.01.22 - Addition Sums. We have been creating and working out some addition sums; using potatoes to help us work them out.
24.01.22 - Counting objects. We have been adding two groups of potatoes. We then attempted writing the addition sum to go with it.
13.12.21 - Ordering numbers. We ordered the numbers 1-10.
17.11.21 - Matching numbers to their quantities. We matched the correct number of cubes to the number cards.
11.11.21 - Repeating Patterns. We used pegs to copy and create repeating patterns.
