Hi Yr 4 Children, Parents and Carers,

A 'Daily Learning' sub page has been added to the Home Learning Section of your child's class page on the school website. 

Here you will find that the new expectation is that your child will access the Oak National Academy lessons for their year group every day - as a minimum. For those that need it, learning from the year group below, will also be added. 

Every Monday morning (beginning on Monday 22nd June 2020) the link to the week's lessons for your child will be posted on the 'Daily Learning' sub page.

Your child can continue to access other learning in subjects under the relevant icon on our Year group class page. Please also continue to access 'Times Table Rock Stars' for multiplication practice and Active Learn for allocated maths games and reading books.

    Welcome to Year 4!

We have had a wonderful start to the new school year; the children have settled in nicely and are learning new things every day! Our first topic, The Iron Man has begun and we have enjoyed creating hanging mobiles in design and technology, rusty 'conjunction' chains in grammar, WANTED posters with super similes in English, we've investigated electrical games in science and made a human timeline of robots in History.

Please continue to support your child at home especially with times tables, as we will be the first year group to have the new national test in June. Please allow your child to read at least three times each week and write a comment to support this in their diary.

If you have any queries please feel free to come and see us or write a comment for your child to share with us in their diary.
