Welcome to Year 5!

This is going to be a very busy and exciting year for your children. They have the privilege of learning to play the guitar. At the end of the year there will be a performance for you to come and see everything your child has learnt.

Year 5 expectations:

• The children in both classes must bring their guitar in every Monday.
• Homework is sent out on a Friday and due back in by the following Wednesday.
• Spellings are sent out on a Friday this year and your children will be tested every Thursday.
• You must hear your child read at least 3 times a week and leave comments in their diaries.

 

Please note, year 5 have PE on Thursdays.

 

If you have any concerns or queries, do not hesitate to speak to your class teacher.
