    EYFS Pupil Voice 2026-2027

Pupil voice is an important part of our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We value children's thoughts, ideas, opinions and interests, ensuring that every child feels listened to, respected and valued. Through play, conversations, observations and everyday interactions, we encourage children to express their views, make choices and share their ideas. Practitioners actively listen and respond to children's interests, using their feedback to help shape our learning environment, activities and experiences. By giving children opportunities to make decisions, solve problems and take ownership of their learning, we nurture confidence, independence and a sense of belonging. We believe that every child has a voice, and that even our youngest learners should feel empowered to have a say in their learning and their world.
