Parent Partnership

We work closely with parents to develop a good parent partnership to ensure that children feel safe, happy and secure whilst here at Marsh Green. We believe that parents and carers are a child's first and most important educators. We recognise that building strong, positive relationships with families is essential in supporting every child's learning, development and wellbeing.

Working in partnership means sharing knowledge, experiences and information to ensure that we understand each child's individual needs, interests, abilities and experiences. By working together, we can provide consistency between home and nursery, helping children to feel safe, secure, confident and valued.

We encourage open and honest communication with all our families. Whether through daily conversations, sharing observations, photographs, learning journeys, meetings or informal discussions, we value the contributions parents make to their child's development.

We understand that every family is unique, and we respect the different cultures, backgrounds, beliefs and experiences that each family brings. Parents know their children best, and their knowledge helps us to provide meaningful learning opportunities that reflect each child's interests and individual stage of development.

By sharing achievements, celebrating milestones and supporting learning both at home and in our setting, we create a positive environment where children can thrive.

We believe that the best outcomes for children happen when parents and practitioners work together. After all, it takes a partnership to give every child the best possible start in life.
