Frida Kahlo
The children have explored the work of Frida Kahlo and explored why she has depicted certain themes within her art work. They have also explored the surrealism within her art and practiced drawing self portraits.
Observing nature
This term the children will be using their artist skills to draw and recreate different features of nature. This week they went into our playground where we have been lucky enough to have new plants available for us to observe. The children took images of the plants and chose one to recreate using their sketching and colouring skills.
