Swimming with Rebecca Adlington
5EL were lucky enough to meet Rebecca Adlington and to have a fun session swimming session at Barking Leisure Centre. Aroma, who is in 5EL, won a swimming hat competition and Rebecca Adlington came to present her design on the hat. The children got to learn about what it takes to be an athlete and were able to ask Rebecca questions. At the swimming pool the children played a range of games, which involved them working in teams and they used different props and tactics to navigate through the pool. The children had a fantastic day and felt very inspired.
