Spring 1 - Properties and Changes of Materials 

This half term,  children will be conducting practical activities and scientific enquiries to support their understanding in the differences between a variety of materials, and how materials can be mixed and dissolved, and reversibly and irreversibly changed. 

Autumn 1 - Life Cycles

Year 5 have been exploring  the processes of sexual and asexual reproduction in plants, finding out about sexual reproduction in animals, investigating the differences in the life cycles of different animals and finding out about the work of naturalists!
