Year 6 took part in a three hour First Aid training course delivered by Mini Medics, and it was an extremely informative and valuable experience. Throughout the session, the children learned essential life-saving skills, including how to respond in an emergency, how to put someone in the recovery position, how to perform CPR and how to deal with choking.

The session was practical, engaging and age appropriate, giving pupils the confidence to know what to do if they ever find themselves in a real-life emergency situation. The children asked thoughtful questions and showed great maturity when practicing their new skills.

We are incredibly proud of how sensible and responsible Year 6 were during the training. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to gain important knowledge that could one day help save a life.

This half term we are learning about Classification - the process of organising objects, concepts and all living things into groups based on their shared characteristics.
